One Week In. Whirlwind 7 Days
Where are we one week post release?
Well, we’re hanging in there. To those of you who took the time to buy (or even if you received a free ARC copy) and left a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads, thank you. I am absolutely floored so far by the reception. I never would have thought it, but it kind of seems to be riding a wave of momentum:

What’s up next for The Last Eye of Time
As most of you know, The Last Eye of Time is the first book in the series of the same name. And yep, that means that I’m working on the second book (untitled) already. A little bit about my plans:
Finish the first draft by November.
Take a 2-week hiatus to refresh my eyes.
Begin editing.
Announce Beta Reader program to newsletter subscribers.
Edit some more.
Edit some more, more.
Edit further.
Announce and distribute ARCs.
Prepare for release > Release
So, without putting a firm time on it at this point, I am looking at a late first half of 2026 release. Things can change, I could finish the first draft early, or the manuscript could require more extensive edits than initial estimates, but by and large this is the timeline I’ll be working with.
I’ll release some updates to it as the weeks and months pass, so make sure to stay tuned!

So what will we have hear at the official website until then? Well…
Sometime in September I will release the first side-story from TLEoT universe. With a story this big and with so many characters, there are a lot of backstories. Once a month (unless something else comes up), I’ll have short side stories released exclusively to newsletter subscribers (then following some time later on the website).
Excerpts from Book 2. I will post some here on occasion, offering glimpses and sneak peaks into the world of The Last Eye of Time. There are a few new characters, places, and events in Book 2 that will, if you’re anything like me at all, knock your socks off. I’m so excited to bring them out into the world!
Character Bios. I’ll also be doing some character-centric posts that focus on one character from the books at a time, starting with Gaelenn. These will be fun deep-dives into their pasts, presents, and analyzing what makes them tick!
